You won’t want to miss this weekend’s service.  Our speaker is a former professor and mentor to our Associate Pastor, Rod Casey.  Dr. Don Sunukjian is professor of preaching at Talbot School of Theology on the campus of Biola University in La Mirada, California. Prior to Talbot, he served 14 years as a senior pastor of churches in Scottsdale, Arizona and Austin, Texas.  He also taught preaching for 10 years at Dallas Theological Seminary.  Dr. Sunukjian's life-long love has been preaching, both as a pastor and a teacher.  His passion is to see God's truth presented with accuracy, clarity, interest, and relevance.  With doctorates in theology and communication and 14 years as a senior pastor, he brings both scholarship and experience to Woodcrest.  Dr. Sunukjian's book, Invitation to Biblical Preaching, won the annual preaching book award for PreachingToday.com 2007.
