There is a distance between this generation of students and their spiritual life with God, the same way there is a distance between the subway cars and the platform we would stand on. Woodcrest Student Ministries considers it our job to cooperate with parents to mind the gap.

There is an old adage that says “give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, but teach him how to fish and he will eat forever.” When it comes to helping students find truth, The Underground gives them tools to finding God’s truth in a variety of ways and helps them apply it to their daily lives and culture. It’s where we can reach out to students who are seeking and show them how Christ and a relationship with Him works in their world.

The Underground for Sr. High meets each Sunday night at 5:00 p.m.

The Underground for Jr. High meets each Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.

The Underground for Middleschool meets Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.

Incredigirls and D-Line show students how to have their faith hit the street by directly applying what God is teaching them about Himself through scripture. Incredigirls and D-Line are for Jr. High and Sr. High students and meet at Woodcrest on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.

Groups for Middleschoolers are built into their Saturday night structure.

Special Events

These events are Woodcrest’s chance to connect students to a healthy community in a fun environment. We do everything from movies, to skating, to just hanging out at Andy’s Frozen Custard. These events are announced regularly in our Parent Enewsletter.
